Promoting the Gypsy Horse and LexLin Gypsy Ranch with Integrity
We at LexLin Gypsy Ranch care very much for this breed and are working hard to promote and improve the Gypsy Horse through use of high quality breeding stock with well known bloodlines (both imported and from around the US), DNA testing, regular care from knowledgeable staff, training and extensive marketing. We are trying to spread the word about the breed through every avenue available and are trying to make it possible for more people in the US to have a chance to own and work with these wonderful horses.
Photography and Marketing Efforts
We recently started a monthly online Gypsy Horse Auction to further draw attention to the Gypsy Horse breed and to give people a chance to a purchase a nice horse for an extremely reasonable price through competitive bidding online. Top Thoroughbred racehorses as well as some other high caliber Warmblood horses are sold through prestigeous auctions and we are excited to bring this new sales venue to the Gypsy Horse breed. We decided to move forward with a structured auction format online that would allow people from around the US a chance to purchase a horse through this format. All of our horses sold via the auction format have a reserve price set and will not sell if the price has not been met. They are only sold to families that we check out and feel will provide wonderful homes for these horses.
On April 30th and October 16th we will be holding our first two semi-annual production sales at the ranch. If some folks are unable to attend in person, there will be a live online auction format available. We’re excited about this new program and the opportunity it will give buyers to interact with the horses prior to the sale! Watch for more information on the horses we’ll be entering in the production sale in the coming weeks on our website.
A lot of time and effort goes into our marketing program to help promote these wonderful horses. Our most recent expansion was in the new Gypsy Vanner Auction and Merchandise section we added on February 1ST. We try to ensure proper credit is given on all images not taken by us and/or ranch staff. With several thousand images of 140+ horses that we sort through, there may be an instance where a credit is omitted by mistake. If there are questions or oversights on our part for not crediting photographers or others, please inform us at your earliest convenience.
