• Must be a disabled/injured veteran or organization that supports disabled/injured veterans within the US, Canada or Mexico.
• Provide proof of a proper stable to care for the LexLin Gypsy Vanner (Additional verification and photos may be requested if selected as the finalist)
• Must provide proof of adequate means to feed and care for the LexLin Gypsy Vanner.
• Fill in nomination form that includes an essay with a minimum of 200 words on why the nominee should be chosen to receive a Gypsy Vanner Horse.
 

Articles, videos, testimonials, stories, etc. that you want to use to help promote your nominee may be submitted anytime to heroes@gogypsy.com for use on our website, e-news and/or facebook during the voting phase (May 16- June 3) Note: We reserve the right to feature random submissions through June 9th at the discretion of LexLin Gypsy Ranch staff. Beginning on June 10th we will feature one nominee’s promo material per day starting with the nominee that has the most votes and work our way down the from most votes to least votes. There is no guarantee that all nominees will be featured but we’ll try our best to highlight those who do submit materials.

• Nominations will be accepted between April 22nd and midnight EST on May 15, 2013.
• The finalists will be chosen (subject to LexLin approval) and voting will begin at 3pm EST on May 16th and will end on July 3rd at midnight EST. The winner will be announced at noon EST on July 4, 2013
• Injured or diabled Veterans or organizations that support injured and disabled veterans may self nominate if desired
• Must be able to provide transportation for horse from LexLin Gypsy Ranch in Rockwood, TN 37854
• If someone else is nominating a injured or disabled veteran or oganization that supports injured or disabled veterans, the nominee has to have knowledge of the nomination
• The selected LexLin Gypsy Vanner nominee will be announced at noon on the 4th of July via our website, facebook, and other media outlets
• LexLin will ensure the Gypsy Vanner is current on all shots, worming, farrier, coggins, and health certificate to be ready to travel no later than the 15th of July
• If the selected nominee has any concerns or challenges in providing adequate care for the Gypsy Vanner, LexLin will take back the Gypsy Horse at no cost to the veteran or organization
• All Nominations should be submitted via the online nomination form (Available April 22nd – May 15, 2013)
• The Gypsy Vanner horse to be donated is a three year old gelding named Stormy
• The winner must be willing to sign LexLin’s Placement Contract before taking ownership of the horse.

By entering this contest, entrant gives full consent to LexLin Gypsy Ranch to use excerpts from or the full essay including name of entrant and photograph, for marketing, advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
• Vote Trading is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification from this contest and all future contests sponsored by LexLin Gypsy Ranch. The use of any online vote trading website such as www.getonlinevotes.com, voting chat room, voting blog, voting forum or social media voting platforms will automatically result in disqualification.
