LexLin Gypsy Breeders Partnership Program – Incredible Opportunity!

Posted on February 28, 2012 with No Comments

[Rockwood, TN] LexLin Gypsy Horse Ranch is announcing a new program for becoming an active owner/breeder of Gypsy Vanner Horses. As the title infers, it is a Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program, whereby anyone who qualifies may lease broodmares from LexLin, raise the foal, and have a fifty percent share in the foal. At weaning, the lessee has the option of purchasing the LexLin share, and thereby becomes the owner of unique genetic stock imported directly from England and Wales.

The LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program, allows a person with a minimum investment to become a breeder and owner of genetic lines of Gypsy Vanner Horses imported by LexLin Gypsy Ranch. So, you don’t have to say, “I wish I could afford a Gypsy Vanner Horse.” LexLin Gypsy Ranch has created a method to make that dream a reality. Think about it, real, imported Gypsy Vanner Horses on your farm…

The LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program, is designed to support the lessee in all phases of the ownership process. For new horse owners, LexLin will provide guidance on care and management of the horse, enabling them to benefit from their experience with this unique breed.

How do YOU become a part of the Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program?

Contact the owners at LexLin Gypsy Ranch to discuss your possible participation in the LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program,. They will explain the steps and procedures on how you can become a member of the Gypsy Vanner Horse community in a very short period of time. Yes, the dream of having a Gypsy Vanner Horse in your pasture can be very real.

How soon can YOU become a LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partner?

You can become involved with the LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program in 30 days or less. Yes, it is that simple. And, you can enjoy the pride of caring for and owning one anywhere in the United States.

Who Benefits from the LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program?

Anyone with the love and passion for Gypsy Vanner Horses can benefit from participation in this program. YOU can become an owner of Gypsy Vanner Horses with a very small financial investment.

Current owners and breeders of Gypsy Vanner Horses can benefit from the LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program, regardless of the size and scope of their breeding farm. Current owners may wish to participate in the program to increase their mare genetic stock by direct imported mares, saving all the costs of importation.

How can YOU Benefit from Participating in the LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program?

The LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program is a method to assist persons interested in establishing the nucleus of a breeding program with select, imported Gypsy Vanner mares with a low cost investment.

The LexLin mares participating in this LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program provide the partner breeder with unique genetics otherwise not available in North America. Many of the mares have been imported from England and Wales, with bloodlines from some of the top breeders. So, the Gypsy Breeder’s Partners have the advantage of gaining access to imported genetic stock, otherwise often not available other then through direct importation.

For the established breeding farm with a limited number of broodmares, the LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Programis an excellent method to acquire mares on a short-term basis, with a minimal investment.

By participating in the LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program, the breeding farm could select the quality and conformation type of mare that would be most compatible with their breeding program without the investment of traveling to Europe, paying importation costs and dealing with all of the veterinary requirements for importation of breeding animals. The breeding farm would breed the leased mare to a compatible Gypsy Vanner stallion owned by  LexLin Gypsy Ranch.

The LexLin Gypsy Breeder’s Partnership Program is an opportunity all Gypsy Vanner Horse breeders should consider in enhancing their breeding programs.

Old No.7 Goes to His New Home

Posted on August 10, 2011 with No Comments

It was a hot, sunny Saturday when we arrived at in Humboldt, TN on July 23, 2011 but that didn’t keep all of friends, family and community away! We were greeted with a fantastic reception as we drove with people clapping and waving anxiously awaiting Old No. 7’s arrival. There was a TV setup with a video on TLC and its mission, a great scrap book of some of their students and more information on AGHAF and LexLin Gypsy Ranch.  TLC Riding Academy was founded in 2006, as a therapeutic horseback riding program for persons with disabilities.  Horses are used at TLC to assist with activities that help individuals with physical and emotional challenges.  They assist all ages of people from young children to adults in their 80’s. There is a small per hour charge fee for lessons/activities but no one is turned away for their inability to pay! There is no doubt that Cheryl and Tom who own and run the academy do it out of a great love for people and horses.

We look forward to updates from TLC on how Old No. 7 is fitting with all their other horses. Tom and Cheryl have a great facility and we can tell Old No. 7 will be showered with love and affection just by the short time we spent there.

You can read more about TLC on their website, www.tlcridingacademyinc.org.

LexLin Gypsy Ranch Welcomes Sundance Kid to His New Home

Posted on June 22, 2011 with No Comments

We know the official announcement has been much anticipated…LexLin is now home to the Sundance Kid!

Sundance is a stunner! He is golden buckskin, blagdon in color which is rare in the Gypsy Vanner/Gypsy Cob breed.  He has one blue eye and one brown eye which really make him look almost like a different horse depending on which profile you see. He is registered with Gypsy Horse Registry of America and the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society as a breeding stallion. We have DNA color results for Sundance and he is available for stud to a limited number of approved Gypsy mares in 2011. We breed Sundance to one of our outstanding Gypsy mares last week. We know he will make a great addition to our breeding program at LexLin!

Here is Sundance’s pedigree as given from famous Gypsy Horse breeder Michael Vine:

“Sundance’s sire is a stallion called TROOPER THORN who is a black and white grandson of Eddie Alcocks Old Horse. His sire is a son of Eddie Alcocks Old Horse and dam is a Bay blagdon splashy mare called Sue Ellen. His sire is Eddie Alcocks Old Horse, who is by the Old Coal Horse.

Sundance dam is a dun mare called WILD ROSE, she is by a palomino stallion called CHIPS 2 x a mare called BLACK BONNY. Chips 2 is by a dark dappled palomino stallion called CHIPS 1 who was owned by my father 35 years ago. Black Bonny is by a Dales bred colt from Weekside Perfect breeding and out of a Black mare called KIZZIE. She was by a palomino stallion called ASPRO, who was around 40 years ago…”

Sundance is currently being evaluated for his riding ability and we hope to begin driving training soon. Please take a look at his page on our website to view more pictures of this Gypsy Vanner stallion. We couldn’t be more excited to have him at LexLin!

June Monthly Horse Auction Update

Posted on June 22, 2011 with No Comments

LexLin Gypsy Ranch hosted our monthly horse auction with two of our featured horses, LexLin’s Wyatt and a breeding to one of our Gypsy Vanner stallions, Gentleman Jack.

LexLin’s Wyatt (SOLD) was born on June 19, 2010, so his one year birthday will be coming up soon! He is a friendly colt, smaller in stature, that would make a great candidate for a children’s mount. Like most Gypsy Vanner/Gypsy Cob horses he has a very outgoing personality and loves attention. He would make the perfect addition to your family!

Gentleman Jack is a beautiful black blagdon stallion, born on June 28th 2006. He stands 14.2 hh and is registered with Gypsy Vanner Horse Society, Gypsy Horse Association, and the Gypsy Horse Registry of America. His registration with the Gypsy Cob & Drum Association is pending. He has an excellent pedigree. His sire is Tid and his dam is The Chestnut Mare. His pedigree goes all the way back to the famous Lob. His color DNA test results are Red Gene – E/e, and Agouti – a/a. His first foal of 2011, LexLin’s Cha Ching is a beautiful sabino colt. Don’t miss this great opportunity for a breeding to Gentleman Jack!
