LexLin Gypys Ranch is a long time dream come true for Eric and Mechelle Barton. With years as a traveling marine family, dreams of having horses were put on hold for a long time. Once the Bartons were able to settle down in Tennessee they started looking for a horse. They came across Gypsy Vanners in the DuPont Registry and could not resist researching the Gypsy breed. The Bartons were so taken with this beautiful, willing breed that they purchased not 1 but 4 Gypsy horses.
After some considerable thought and research, the Bartons decided to look at their fondness for the Gypsy Vanner breed as a serious business venture. With their years of business experience they realized that you don't start a business with the attitude of being average; you start with the aim to be the best. They decided the only way to go when it came to breeding Gypsy horses was to begin with the highest quality breeding stock they could find. Mechelle traveled to Wales in the spring of 2009 to select some of the best Gypsy horses of Cob type from Legendary Tom Price's Gypsy herd. LexLin Gypsy Ranch is very excited to offer these outstanding horses to discriminating breeders and enthusiasts here in the US.
